As you prepare to enter the second room of the barn, look to the East side wall near the bottom, you will find examples of Branding Irons used around this area to mark ownership of cattle. Much of the area early on consisted of cattle ranches and the second room has many of the artifacts from that period that have been donated by local familys.

As we leave the entrance room we move from the prehistoric to the historic time period (1850’s to the present). In the second room there are quite a few eclectic exhibits which demonstrate life in historic Coarsegold.
